Dr. Daniel R. Rutledge, Chiropractor
is originally from British Columbia and chose to make Regina,
Saskatchewan his
home after meeting his wife, Regina-born Dr. Julie Zepp
Rutledge, Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, while completing
his chiropractic training in Toronto.
Before moving to Regina, Dr. Rutledge obtained his
post-graduate chiropractic training at Canadian Memorial
Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, one of the only two
chiropractic colleges in Canada. Prior to obtaining his Doctor
of Chiropractic degree from CMCC, Dr. Rutledge attended the
University of British Columbia where he graduated with an
undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics, specializing in
Exercise Science. It was while studying Human Kinetics that
Dr. Rutledge’s interest in Anatomy, Physiology, Neuroanatomy,
Neurophysiology, and Biomechanics lead him to pursue
Chiropractic as a career. His decision to choose Human
Kinetics as his undergraduate degree was rooted in his
background in competitive swimming, in which he was
nationally-ranked for seven years in 50-metre & 100-metre
freestyle.
His belief in active living and the importance of keeping the
body in healthy physical condition have led him to hobbies
such as snowshoeing and downhill skiing in the winter and road
and mountain biking in the summer. He also swims regularly and
enjoys competing in the occasional triathlon.
Dr. Rutledge believes in practicing what you preach, so in
addition to keeping fit, he and his wife, Dr. Zepp Rutledge ND
practice the principles of holistic living – getting plenty of
fresh air and sunshine, eating clean, organic and whole foods
and living a “drug-free” style of life – emphasizing the use
of supplements, where possible, over prescription medications.
